This second Beatles appearance at this venue was a long-arranged date that Brian Epstein would have preferred to cancel. He could not, however, and The Beatles hd to play this gig, anyway. The local group Denny and The Diplomats were on the bill. This group was headed by Denny Laine, future member of The Moody Blues and Paul McCartney's later band, Wings.
